Autobiography of a Pocket-handkerchief, by James Fenimore Cooper (1789 - 1851)

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/autobio-pocket-handkerchief-james-cooper/
Take a fascinating journey from France to America through the "eyes" of a pocket handkerchief. She marvels at the vastness of the universe which the Creator devised and glories in her own fabrication by the young hands of a French peasant. All the while, she sees the intricacies of Providence in her life, as well as those about her. (Summary by Keith Salis)

Target completion date: 2022-06-15

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Like a story that we wish was never ending, we know sometime we must reach the final page. Still we carry on just pretending that there'll always be one more book to go. - Fading Lights, Genesis

I shortened the filename as well. Let me know if other changes are needed. Do you need to advertise for a DPL?

I added a ~ before the title in the subject line. We'll remain here for a day and maybe get an offer.

OK. I also just added the Summary. This is a rare one where I have all of the chapters recorded at the time I start posting. Usually it's an adventure in progress.

Don't forget to add the titles in the MW. Your DPL will need them.

There are no titles. Should I put Ch 1, Ch 2, etc.?
