Breaking Winnie; A Comedy in Three Acts, by Carl Webster Pierce (1898 - 1962)

Volunteers outside the USA: Carl Webster Pierce died in 1962. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.

Submit one file per act. At the beginning of the first file, say:

Leave 3-5 seconds of space between your lines (room noise, not generated silence).

For narration/stage directions:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.

Say:

EDIT: set up, but you need to find death date or add the warning message about no one from Canada or Europe which use death date for PD being able to read for it....

Whew! That took a lot of digging, but I've found him!

Death date for Carl Webster Pierce, playwright born 1898, is August 16, 1962.

I've pasted clippings of my evidence on this doc: Carl Webster Pierce death date

I think I have edited the date and inserted the disclaimer properly?
