This project is complete. Audio files can be found on our Librivox catalog page at https://librivox.org/don-quixote-in-england-by-henry-fielding/"The Audience, I believe, are all acquainted with the Character of Don Quixote and Sancho. I have brought them over into England, and introduced them at an Inn in the Country, where, I believe, no one will be surpris'd that the Knight finds several People as mad as himself."
(Summary by Author)
So we have had the story of Tom Thumb by Fielding. And a Puppet Show. So why not his version of Don Quixote?
Gender neutral.
NO SINGING - just chant when there is any obvious singing. (And if your character is speaking when a song starts in the script, then you PROBABLY should be chanting that song! There are not always extra character labels as to who sings - or in this case chants - what.)
Oh, and by the way, this is an old script with funny F's for S's: fear not, you can handle it.
Kitty will be Mrs Guzzle as well as our DPL. Mrs Guzzle wants order and decorum in her establishment, and I am sure you all want to give her what she wants, yes? So mind your Ps and Qs as you record, or at least use a pop-screen....
