This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/david-and-his-friends-by-louis-albert-banks/
This is a collection of thirty-one revival sermons, all of which were preached in the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Cleveland, Ohio, during the month of January, 1900. They were then collected and published, in order to be an inspiration and a help in the work of winning souls to Christ. (Summary by Devorah Allen, adapter from preface)

Greetings -

If Silverquill doesn't want to DPL this book, I sure would like to.

Hi Lomond! I thought I might see you again in this one, although I didn't give anyone any real advanced notice that it was getting ready to launch. (Actually, I didn't know myself until about an hour before I launched it. It suddenly felt like the time was right!)

I haven't heard from Larry yet, though I do hope he'll read a section or two. So I'm happy to have you along as DPL again!

Yeah, well, Larry's been thinking about it, but "you snooze; you loose."
Really, glad to have you as DPL and I'll concentrate on reading, even though I'm trying to cut down. But, these books I give priority to.

So, let me start with a handful -- 7,16,22,26

I'll try to make your job easy.

And, thank you, Devorah, for putting another of these books together! :)

You're welcome! I've really enjoyed this author, but I realized I had to limit my projects a bit. So I'll be alternating between him and Boreham for awhile. And with the current Boreham almost finished, I realized we needed to get another going!

I'll put you in for those sections, Larry. Thank you!

And I think with our DPL and a few claims in, we can head off to Readers Wanted!

Hello,

May I read section 13? I'm female and understand if you prefer to have a male voice for this.

I look forward to your response and thank you for your kind consideration. Please,

Take Great Care,

Oh no, there's no gender preference for anything in this book, or in almost any project here at all, except the occasional play or dramatic reading. :) Even many of those are gender neutral. Happy to have you! I see you already have a passing one-minute test; congratulations! So you can begin recording chapter 13 whenever you are ready.

What name would you like to use in the catalogue? It can be your real name, forum name, or some other pseudonym.

I may request another one, if there are any left, after I find out whether my trip to the UK is on or not. Blame it on Boris and Joe.

Please let me know of any issues.

Thanks
