Ozoplaning with the Wizard of Oz by Ruth Plumly Thompson (1891 - 1976).

Yep, that wonderfly wacky Wizard of Oz has invented a plane to go into the sky or as he calls it 'strato-sphering'. Zooming among the clouds of OZ will certainly produce many interesting adventures so come along to see what happens in this land of quirky but mostly nice, inhabitants where literally anything can happen. • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/55806
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Absolutely I would think you would get tired of my readings but you keep coming back for more! And I love it, thanks. By the way, I am working on several SF stories and will be posting soon.

Phil,
I love your readings. They remind me of when I first started at LV. Each morning with my tea I would listen to a chapter from you. Here we are a decade later and they are still my favorite mornings.

You're being sneaking again. I found you on my DPL list. I'm sorry if you've been waiting a long time. Sections 1 and 2 are downloaded and in my queue.

I just uploaded them so no problems. I like to get four or five chapters in the can so you can get a sense of the story. This is another good one.

Phil has no cable or wi-fi at the moment, due to the storm and freezing temperatures we are enduring. He asked me to let you know he'll check in when he's back online.

Yay!! For some reason my computer just became connected to the internet so I have uploaded the rest of the files. I was forced to edit most of these files without seeing the text so they may be somewhat rough. Please let me know of any bobbles or stuff because I expect there to be some misreadings. Hope this stays working. Our router for the house is still off line so I don't have a clue how this is working!!! :D Magic!!????
