Cape Cod by Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862).
Cape Cod chronicles Henry David Thoreau's journey across the coast of Massachusetts. It gives Thoreau's perspectives on his journey as well as detailed description of the landscapes of the Cape and surrounding area. A less famous work than his Walden Pond but a literary masterpiece all the same. ( ambsweet13)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/files/34392/34392-h/34392-h.htm
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the number of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Good morning Ambsweet13, I'll be right back with a Magic Window, for which I believe, is your first solo. :D

There is your MW, all we need is a DPL .

(I trimmed the body of the template a bit)

I've somehow managed to get this far in life without reading any Thoreau beyond the Civil Disobedience essay, so I'd like to be DPL on this!

Just wanted to check in because its been a while since I posted an update. I'm still interested in doing this as a solo. Might take me a while to get going though, prioritizing some group projects currently. :D
