Suomen kansan peikkosatuja ynnä legendoja ja kertomussatuja by Iivo Härkönen (1882 - 1941).

Stories for children: trolls, legends and tales. ( )
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/59954
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I know it's difficult when most of us do not speak Finish but could you at the very least do the 1-minute test to get your settings fine-tuned? It's really not possible for us to use recordings that do not conform :(, And it is so much easier to get them right on a 1-minute throwaway than to need to redo a beautiful tale. The instructions are linked the 1st post in this thread
If you are not happy reading the test in English that would be OK , just read about 1 minute of something and post it in the listeners thread. I'm assuming you can read English as you managed the template , but if you would sooner use something else to communicate we may be able to arrange that.

I'm moving this to Book Suggestions to keep the Launch Pad tidy. When you're ready to begin the solo project, post in the thread, and an admin will move it back to the Launch Pad for you. :)
