In Search of Treasure by Horatio Alger, Jr. (1832 - 1899).

Guy Fenwick is a bright boy of 16 who lives with his clergyman father near New Bedford, Massachusetts. Guy receives permission from his father to examine the contents of an old chest in the attic where Guy discovers clues to the location of a pirate treasure buried on a remote island in the Indian Ocean. Guy would dearly love to find the treasure to help support his father but he must first learn to be a sailor. Will he meet honest and forthright men to help him in his quest or will they turn on him? Join Guy on the peaks and troughs of his journey in search of treasure. ( Warren Kati)

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Mark,

Yes! Happy to have you on board as DPL. My spare time is more limited these days but I hope to average about 1 chapter every two weeks.

Thanks for volunteering.

Sure, Warren, thank you for the pleasure.
Hope you don't wait for me to start the next chapter. Some weeks are busier than others for me.

Mark,

No worries, I will not wait before recording the next chapter. My free time is very limited these days so I don’t expect to get too far ahead of you.
