Dr. Gander of Youngland by Henderson Bennett (1843 - 1919).

( )
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://archive.org/details/drganderofyoungl00youn
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

William,

I can MC this for you.

This appears to be your first solo. As a soloist you are the also the BC (book coordinator) for this project (see links below with instructions and details).

The MW is started and tested. You did not enter the number of sections in the starting template so we will have to add sections to the MW.

You will need to write a summary, select a genre, and select a few key words by the time the project is complete and before we put this into the Librivox catalog.

I have made a few edits to the first post.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thank you for your help!

I made the work flow login as you said. When I am finished recording do I post it here or is there some way to upload it through that?
I will write a summary, select a genre, and select a few key words by the end of the project.

William,

You can access the MW using the link labeled BC Admin just below it; this will require you to login with your workflow login and password. This will open up the "Section Compiler" view which allows you to update the information in the MW and add additional sections.

You are both a reader and the BC. As a reader you should post in the thread (something like Chapter 1 uploaded 15:35 ) this is one way to alert me and a DPL that new recordings are uploaded.

Since you are the BC you can add the upload link to the MW and then set the status to "Ready for PL" this is another way that a DPL can see when new recordings are uploaded.
