The Castle of the Carpathians by Jules Verne (2 - 3).
The Castle of the Carpathians is set in Transylvania, Romania and tells the story of the mysterious and frightening things that begin to occur at an abandoned castle. The villagers are terrified as nobody knows what is causing these sudden, strange happenings in this supernatural tale of revenge and jealousy. 1. Text source (only read from this text!): https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=uiug.30112070148843;view=1up;seq=7
  2. Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Joe,

I'd be happy to MC this for you. I'll get your MW set up.

You will need to rewrite the summary before we catalog the project - text from amazon is likely to be copyrighted.

Thanks MaryAnn,

And i intend to rewrite the summary, after I've read it.

It turns out that most sights have the same summary as Wiki, and they actually give a spoiler in the last sentence.
Didn't want to use THAT!

Hi Helen,

That will be fine.

And you know what can really help me out: I lost my DPL on my last solo project "The Girl from Farris'".
Any chance you can do those?
All chapters are ready. It's in the Going Solo thread.
