  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/22031
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

OK, your MW is in place.

I added the required _128kb to the end of your file name. (The template omits it.)

Do you have a proof-listener lined up? If not, put a ~ at the beginning of the subject line to indicate proof-listening is needed. I'll leave this in the Launch Pad for a couple of days for people to see what's coming along the pipeline and somebody might sign up.

And last but not least, you are the BC for your own solo so here is a link to the instructions for first time login and then filling out and maintaining the MW.

Workflow instructions for BC's and DPL's:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kVj409nG_E0XJ5UrrcL7EVx7Qyx-2UQ7dbw4mINi3XQ

I think that about covers it. Post here if you have any questions and if I can't answer I'll find somebody who can.

Have fun!

I wasn't able to find birthdate and deathdate for John Luther Langworthy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for jumping on this Darvinia! This is my first solo and I'm super excited! I just updated the title to indicate I need a PL.

I also wasn't able to find birth and death dates for Langworthy. I'll keep snooping around, but he seems to be a bit obscure.

Will get on the BC instructions ASAP. Thanks again!

I'd be happy to be your DPL. I've been searching for any kind of bio on the author and I also have had no success.

Wonderful, thank you! Since I'm new to this, is there anything I need to do to mark you as DPL, or are we good to go?

We're good to go. :) It was up to you and now you've accepted Margaret I've added her as DPL to the MW so she can edit as necessary.
Thank you Margaret!

Awesome, thank you! Can't wait to get started on this. Once I get a break from theatre in a few weeks.... (doing overlapping shows is crazy!)

Checking in to say I shall be starting this very soon! Theatre took over my life for a little while there, but I'll have a bit of time off shortly, and then I'll be rocking and rolling on this :)

Thanks for checking in! I hadn't done my regular perusal of my projects' dormant states yet, so you saved me sending a PM. :)

Clearly I'm still lagging a bit here. I picked up a big paying project that took precedence over my Librivox work, but I shall be wrapping it up this week, and then back to this! Thanks for being patient :)

No worries. As soloist the schedule is up to you as long as we know you're still interested. :) Which I do! and I appreciate you posting to say so.
