This project is complete and in our catalog at https://librivox.org/titus-a-comrade-of-the-cross-by-florence-morse-kingsley/

Titus : a comrade of the cross by Florence M. Kingsley (1859 - 1937) .
Titus: A Comrade of the cross is a book full of suspense and drama, but more importantly truth. It is about Titus, a young man living in the time of Christ. He is a part of the lowest class of society, his father is a thief, and Titus' brother, whom He is very attached to, is a cripple. Titus and his brother, Stephen, abhor the life of their father, yet Titus has no choice but to join him and the rest of the group of law breakers and thieves occasionally. He yearns for somthing better. One day he hears of Jesus. Titus and Stephen learn more about him, as they hear and see more of Jesus and his disciples, they have some very difficult choices to make. Along the way Titus meets Barabbas, Jesus Mother, Mary, and has some incredible experiences. This story takes you not only to the very foot of the cross, but to the three crosses themselves. The ending is very unexpected, and may seem rather sad, but it does not leave you depressed, rather, full of joy and hope! (Summary by fiddlesticks)
  1. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here
To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you'd like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
  2. New to recording?
Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
  3. Is there a deadline?
We ask that you submit your recorded sections within six weeks of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen.
Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
  4. Where do I find the text?
Source text (please only read from this text!): http://books.google.com/books?id=A5LUAAAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false

NOTE: Some countries are blocked from Google Docs and so this is an alternate source. http://archive.org/details/tituscomradeofcr00kingiala
  5. Please claim sections (the numbers in the first column below)!
If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.

Prospective Prooflisteners: Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ before listening! Level of prooflistening requested: standard

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

    • When your upload is complete, you will receive a link - please post it in this thread.
    • If this doesn't work, or you have questions, please check our How To Send Your Recording wiki page.

I was going to ask you if you would! :D I'll have it posted in about 30 mins actually. I was so excited that I went ahead and recorded it. So now I'll just quickly edit it. It's only going to be around 8 minutes long. I'm going to want to read more chapters, but I can't sign up for them right now...(When I read more, you can do those for me too right?)

Sounds like a plan! *happy!*

Yep, we are off to a great start.
About the tilde, the BC usually takes that off when they accept the DPL and set up proof listening standards if any are special.
The powers of a BC are kinda scary sometimes, eh? Image

EDIT: I forgot that I am the BC !!! No, just standard PLing. File name mistakes DO need to be corrected and uploaded again. ID Tags mistakes should be noted for information only (if you want to), they don't need to correct them. If you hear any strange pronunciation please ask the reader to check it out. Footnotes can be read or not at the discretion of the reader; they should say "footnote: ......words words end of footnote". I will note this in the first post. Dat's it.
