Tristan and Iseult, by Arthur Symons (1865 - 1945)
A stage version of the traditional Celtic legend of Tristan and the two Iseults by the Welsh poet and playwright Arthur Symons. (Summary by Alan Mapstone)

For individual roles:
Submit one file per act. At the beginning of the first file, say:
"Character, read by your name."
Leave 3-5 seconds of space between your lines (room noise, not generated silence).

For narration/stage directions:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.

Say:
"Act # of Tristan and Iseult, by Arthur Symons. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org."
At the end of each file say:
"End of Act #."
If you are recording the final section of the book, add:
"End of Tristan and Iseult, by Arthur Symons."

I will BC and DPL

I will read the Kings and Greg will read Tristan.
Sonia will read the Queen.
All other parts are gender neutral except where specified.

Thanks Sonia, that would be excellent.

There are two kings but they appear at opposite ends of the play. I will try to give one of them an Irish accent :lol:

ah ok...well I guess you would have no trouble filling all the roles, even without double cast. :hmm: But yes, an Irish accent is always a treat.

I guess the queen is a French import, like so often in these days (possibly from Brittany, related to the other Iseult :lol: ) I fear if I do an Irish accent it will sound like a parody.

You are probably right, Iseult of Brittany is a cousin of Iseult of Ireland and more likely to be a cousin on her mother's side than her father's.
