In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
Deadly City: You're all alone in a deserted city. You walk down an empty street, yearning for the sight of one living face—one moving figure. Then you see a man on a corner and you know your terror has only begun.

Secrets of the Martians: Few colonists had seen a Martian, so why worry about them causing trouble? Yet Spencer had been killed—and Rex Tate trapped by the—

Traitor's Choice: Kendall had a difficult decision to make; if he defied the aliens Clare faced a horrible death; if he complied a whole planet must die!

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Phil,

I don't know where my mind was when I thought I needed so many sections. I think I'll need only about half, but let's wait until I'm done to see how many I end up using.

I was kinda curious by the number but assumed you had a master plan. no problem to take away or add sections; just let me know. For my own recordings I like to keep sections to between 20 and 40 minutes if there are no internal divisions. If they have divisions inside a story I just use my judgment but generaly like to use the sections the way the author divided them.

I haven't done any recording for over a year and I'm a little rusty, but it feels good to be back at it.

I prefer the same time frames you do when the project accommodates it.

And we are off and running in fine fashion!

PL Okay

I noticed that for the outro, rather than saying "section", you say "End of part one" which I assume is because it is the end of part one of story one.

Thanks Jim, I think you're right. I'll get it fixed.

Wait. It would seem more helpful to say "end of Part 1 of Deadly Cities" , instead of "end of section 1" What do you think? I could change the first post to reflect this. sometimes this gets kinda confusing.

I don't know why the system keeps adding the same post.

But I agree with your suggestion Phil and will get it fixed.
