I'm pretty sure [gr a] should be "Alpha", beta, greek letters.... Please confirm and I'll change that with whatever other corrections. What is [gr g]?

Cz
Thanks for section 3!

All of your text is right. I believe that the "gr" designations are referring to points on a graph in an illustration which is omitted in the text-only version. If I remember right, I went and found a scanned copy of the book on archive.org and saw the original drawing. When I recorded this section, I left them out altogether since they didn't make sense without the visual. It would be great if you could go in and rerecord to take them out. It's only a couple of spots. Here are the time marks:

8:08-8:49 pdf p.11, paragraph beginning "The constellation Virgo"
11:17 pdf p. 12, sentence within paragraph; paragraph begins "A curious confirmation"

p.s. Yes, see here.

Hi Peter -
I hope you had a pleasant time away. Here are the PL Notes:
:25 in intro: repetition: please delete the last statement "Chapter 10, The Saviour-God and the Virgin-Mother"
1:01 repetition: "And when the man abandons"--in first paragraph
13:57 omission: "and she gave birth"--in paragraph beginning "Anyhow, and as a matter of fact,"
16:47 repetition: "and that the word"--in footnote 2 beginning "See Kingsborough's..."

Thanks,
Verla

All set.
I strongly recommend shortening the file name... paganandchristiancreeds would work.
Ready to send to Readers Wanted. I have great hopes given that we're already seeing interest.

Thank you!

Hi Steel -

Congrats on passing your 1-minute test earlier today!

In order to assign you your first section, I need to know what name you'd like to be listed under in the catalog. It can be your username, your real name, or a pseudonym of your choice. I will create that catalog entry in the process of assigning the section.

Since this is your very first, I'll assign one section, #4, and after you have that PL OK you can claim another one. Don't hesitate to ask questions here. It's a supportive environment and you'll get helpful answers.

So, catalog name?

Thanks,
Verla

Thanks Verla,

My name is Joshua Vellacott (as my catalog name). Sounds good!

I have a couple of hours before I'm due to leave home, so I made the edits in Section 17/Chapter 10:

section 3 reloaded with corrections: 15:51

Thanks for the time marks!

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Section 4 has French, is that okay with Joshua, or should I do it and he do 5? Don't mean to mix it up, but the French is a thing....

Verla, your MW isn't showing the reader names? Remember to let the system suggest, and click that.... I get it wrong still.

Hi Joshua -

Do you speak French? Section 4 has some French in it, and czandra has volunteered to read it. Would you mind switching to section 5?

I've asked Joshua here and in PM, so don't start 4 until we hear from him, please.

The reader names aren't showing because I haven't assigned you any other sections. Earlier I asked if you wanted to trade the French for the other ones (as opposed to doing both the previously requested and the French) and I didn't get a clear answer, just that you'd already done section 3. Should I put you down for all the French? Plus the others you requested? Or just French? Give me all the specific numbers you want, please.

Your corrections sound great. Really seamless.

At 8:16 you render [gr g] as gamma and at 11:18 you render the same thing as upsilon. ??
