IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I hope I've done this correctly. It's been some time since I posted a collection of titles.

I'm PLing another solo on the Korean War, specifically on the U.S. Marine actions, in great detail, being narrated by a veteran who was stationed in Korea.

And, I would be glad to be DPL for this.
I consider Korea my second home, :9:

Had some spicy kimchi jjigae last night to help fight off this virus stuff. Feel better today.

Thank you!

I had to look up jjigae. (The stew is served steaming hot, and the flavor is in-your-face, red pepper-flaked spicy with a fermented vegetal twang, a little fat from the meat, and fabulously piquant.)

Ha! Well, it is an acquired taste, but now it is comfort food. Seriously is.
And, lomond, my Peace Corps buddy took me to Korean restaurant somewhere in Portland, but I think we had bulgogi, but always kimchi on the side. The first time they gave us some in training, I almost asked to a transfer to South America or something.

Pastor, we're all set.

I hope you'll both forgive me my mispronunciations and assist me with the worst of them.

As we say in Korea, "shi-jak" Begin

Well, I'm lenient on pronunciation. Some Korean sounds are almost impossible to distinguish, especially vowels, and even some consonants which just don't exist in English. So, our letters don't really reflect the Koran sounds either. You'll do fine.

No rush on these, Pastor. I'm giving myself three months or so, unless you want me to work faster.

You just work at your own pace, my friend.
I'm not quite back up to snuff yet, and have a bit of catching up to do, but I won't leave you adrift.
Looking forward to listening.
