The Silver Shadow, and Other Day Dreams, by Frank W. Boreham (1871 - 1959)

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-silver-shadow-by-frank-w-boreham/

Volunteers outside the USA: Frank W. Boreham died in 1959. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
Frank Boreham was a well known preacher who served in England, Australia, and New Zealand. He published dozens of books and thousands of editorials during his lifetime, with no sign of slowing down, even up until his death at age 88. He wrote with a distinctive style, seeming to be able to draw a spiritual lesson out of any conceivable topic.

Boreham admits that this volume is but a collection of his reflections on things. But he hopes that by viewing the reflections, we will be more apt to take notice of the things themselves than if we had looked directly at them in full light of day. (Summary by Devorah Allen)

I'll go ahead and move this to Readers Wanted. I'm a little surprised though. I think this is the first Boreham I've done that didn't grab a DPL while in the Launch Pad.

Well, for whatever reason, I did not get a notification of this when it hit the launch pad. I click on everyone I get.

Boreham is such a story teller here!
I'd be glad to join as DPL.

Thanks, Larry! Welcome aboard!

(And I think I know the reason why you didn't get a notification. I did a little MC-magic by posting this in a secret part of the forum while I got it set up, then moving it to the Launch Pad when I had it ready to go. Sorry to mess up your system!)

Hi Devorah,

Might I claim Section 1?

But knowing me and Boreham I will probably be back in a while when my plate gets a little less full.

Thanks,

Wayne

Okay, sneaky one, I'm ready to PL.

I would like to read at least one section and Section 4 would be a lot of fun
Just saying, his line about the minister's house being "hushed and quiet," ain't so!
