This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/christianity-in-the-18th-and-19th-century-volume-1-by-various/
The 30 works in this volume are arranged thematically around the following headings: materialism or anti-supernaturalism (responses to David Friedrich Strauss, David Hume, Thomas Henry Huxley, sermons about natural religion and its limits), church and state or politics (contrasting perspectives from Britain, America and the Netherlands), the office of the pastor (sermons, opinions on church government, evidence from the early church, personal experiences, principles for preaching), sermons and miscellaneous pieces (theology and history).
Note: "Receipt" in the title of section 2 means "recipe"
Source text (please read only from this text!):

Target completion date: 2021-12-31

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Always a pleasure. I have found the pieces in this collection immensely interesting.

I am pleased to have figured out the bug with the compressor which causes the slow fade in at the start of all my tracks has now been rectified in my macros. :)

Having now read everything, I have quite radically changed the order of the sections so that they are arranged in a logical and thematic order. They won't change from this point. I'm hopeful that Tricia will be able to rename them to the MW order at catalogue time. For PLing, you can name them however is convenient, perhaps "Section 5 (MW)" or "Section 5 (file)".

I can rename the files using FTP, before cataloging time. It would be really messy to catalog them with the wrong section numbers. I should be able to work on that this afternoon/evening. Remind me if I forget.

Looks like the file/section number issue has been resolved.

PL OK - Sections 6, 10, 11, 15, 22, 24

Section 30 PL note:
16:36 - repeated phrase "and that consequently no books were written after the time of Artaxerxes(?) Longemanas(?)"
