IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I'm doing this at the beginning of chapters:

"... Chapter One [short pause] Section One."

Then for new sections I leave 4 second pause, "Section Two" and another brief pause.

Okay? Let me know if there's another way. Thanks!

Sounds like a plan. Instead of the word section you could say, part, but either works.

Query:

The author's famous as A. A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh). However, his full name is Alan Alexander Milne. I think it best to call him A. A. Milne -- the name people know -- in the recording. However, people will search for Alan Alexander. (Or can he also be coded as A.A.?)

So the question is: can I record "The Holiday Round, by AA Milne" ...???

Section 1:

0:23-0:26 - repeat of the book title, with the full name of the author. It can probably be cut out. :)
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

For the record, I've put in an "alternate" name of Alan Alexander, so now he's findable both ways in our catalog.
