Pimpernel and Rosemary, by Baroness Orczy

This project is now complete.  All audio files can be found on our catalog page here:

https://librivox.org/pimpernel-and-rosemary-by-baroness-emma-orczy/

A novel in the Scarlet Pimpernel series that features Peter Blakeney, a descendant of the Scarlet Pimpernel. Peter's adventures take him to Hungary and much intrigue involving his good friend, Rosemary, Nazis, and spies ensue. (Summary by Holly Rushik)
Source text (please read only from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/65591/

Target completion date: 2022-03-30

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Is this what you need?
I clearly did something wrong, I see it shows the Wikipedia address as the text rather than the Gutenberg address.
Thank you for replying and helping!

That's it, except the link to the main page is preferred.

I'll MC for you. Your MW will be up shortly.

It looks like you completed a solo earlier this year, so you should have a login for the workflow and know how to update the MW. If you have any questions, just let me know. I wlil leave the thread here for another day or two to see if a DPL joins us.

Thank you! It's been a little while since I did my last book, so I am a bit rusty on getting going. I appreciate your help.

Great job on the reading! The only thing that needs fixed is that you are supposed to leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the very beginning. Something I just recently had to fix in my own book.

Thank you so much for your input and quick reading. When I open up my file, it shows .5 seconds at the beginning. Do you think I should add more?

Your 0.5 sec is fine. The range is there just so you don't have to worry about an exact number. Less than 0.5 sec runs the risk of the beginning of the recording getting cut off and more than 1 sec will leave the listener wondering if the file is playing...

Good to know, and thanks for clearing up the confusion I caused! :) I switch the prologue to PL OK.
