Scholia on the Incarnation of the Only-Begotten by Cyril of Alexandria (c. 376 - 444). Translated by Rev. Philip Edward Pusey ( - 1880)

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/scholia-on-the-incarnation-of-the-only-begotten-by-cyril-of-alexandria/
Thirty-seven short articles discussing "What is Christ?" ( The Reader)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.tertullian.org/fathers/cyril_scholia_incarnation_01_text.htm
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Monaxi,

Would you consider using this as the source text? https://archive.org/details/armenianversiono00cyririch

I haven't read through the entire text to see if they are exactly identical; the first few lines starting on page 168 seem to match.

Good morning, David! Is there a particular reason you'd prefer that source? I've read from tertullian previously, and am recording another project from there now.

You can read from Tertullian.

The reason I prefer both Archive and Gutenberg as sources it that they provide more file formats for the text source. There is no difference if I am sitting at my desktop computer. However, when I am not physically connected to the internet with a wire or in a free WI-FI zone it does make a difference. Instead of downloading each web page, I like to have the option to download a .pdf or full-text file that I can read while traveling or unable to connect to the Internet.

I can MC this for you.

MW is started.

Hello, Ann! Section 04 is ready for you: https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/ontheincarnation_04_cyrilofalexandria_128kb.mp3 20:58.

I guess I'd better start thinking about the summary.
