But, well, likely not actually a Shakespeare.... Perhaps by Robert Green (1558 - 1592)
This play is mentioned as being popular in the 1611 Beaumont and Fletcher play 'The Knight of the Burning Pestle';. In fact, Mucedorus 'was enormously successful. This absurd play, with the merits and defects of a nursery tale, was acted by strolling companies everywhere till long after the Commonwealth, and passed through seventeen editions between 1598 and 1700, a record unequaled in the history of the pre-Restoration drama.' From the Title Page: "A Most pleasant Comedie of Mucedorus the kings sonne of Valentia and Amadine the kings daughter of Arragon, with the merie conceites of Mouse. Newly set foorth as it hath bin sundrie times plaide in the honorable Cittie of London, Very delectable and full of mirth. London. Printed for William Jones, dwelling at Holborne conduit, at the signe of the Gunne. 1598."
As you can see, there is some, er, interesting spelling throughout this. Good luck.
Sonia is Envy, or Enuie, or some of those other various alternate spelling. She will not be so tolerant of your alternates in her role as DPL, so be careful.
