Thank you. Here's the part: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/whichistheking_lafleur_watts.mp3 7:34.
The word "innocuous" springs most to mind.

Well, admittedly the text's not exactly Shakespeare, but you gave the part precisely the charming sort of reading I was looking for.adrianstephens wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2021, 8:31 amThank you. Here's the part: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/whichistheking_lafleur_watts.mp3 7:34.

One thing, though -- On page 6, after the stage directions "Enter LA FLEUR cautiously, through gate from L." The paragraph that begins "In vain I've watched each entrance and window..." also belongs to your character.

"Charming" - it's not often I can manage to be that. Oops. I just managed to miss the line that sets my whole part in context.
Tie me to the mizzen-mast and slap me with wet haddock.

Well, tell her I said that the audio version of you for the limited context of this play was perfectly adorable...adrianstephens wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2021, 12:01 am"Charming" - it's not often I can manage to be that. Yes, the non-standard formatting of these Victorian-era scripts do like to play hide and seek with your lines sometimes.
Todd -- La Fleur for "Which is the King?" is PL-OK.
Thank you.
