Gentlemanly Johnny

As Burgoyne is only in act 3 shall I also read the few lines of Uncle William in act 1?

Sorry for the slow response--yesterday was a mess. Thank you! I'm delighted by your very urbane and world-weary Burgoyne. Just two small changes: at 7:15, in "My more intimate friends call me General Burgoyne," the last syllable of “intimate” is missing (which would hardly matter except that Burgoyne speaks so clearly and deliberately), and at 17:37, in "To avoid upsetting his arrangements, England will lose her American colonies," I hear “England must” for “England will”

And yes, please do read Uncle William. Thank you!

Thank you! Short, dramatic, and very effective...
Just one small omission: "young" is missing from "this foolish young man" at 1:08

Thank you! PL OK. The foolish young man Dick Dudgeon thanks Rev. Anderson heartily for saving his life and pointing out his actual nature, and his similarly foolish middle-aged reader thanks you for reading Anderson's part splendidly... I think this is going to sound delightful when it all comes together.

Thank you! Major Swindon is PL OK, and I particularly appreciate his air of barely suppressed resentment in dealing with General Burgoyne. I think the interactions within the British army are going to be a treat to listen to once it's all together. Thanks again!

Hi Joanna,

Do you have a rule about readers taking multiple parts? I have already read Sergeant for acts 2&3, but would like to read Uncle Titus for Act 1. I hear him in my head as a slightly higher pitched Walter Brennan.

That would make the project full.

 I am very much looking forward to hearing the final product for this one. Can't wait.
