I'd like to play the Dinner Guest, Section 7 and Section 12

Thanks!
Thank you, I'll sign you up!

(And thanks also for being so polite about this repeat request; I just now noticed your earlier claim for this role, which I'd overlooked at the time. )

Thanks, Michele, nice work with this. A couple of notes here, but only one really important one.

1:05 Text here reads, "...while Viola, who came to the door, was again most humanly charming..." I hear, "...while Viola, who came to the door, was again almost humanly charming..."
3:22-3:37 As I just posted above, this section should be Morton's line, but I didn't notice it as I was color coding. I can cut it, of course, myself, and so I wouldn't have asked you to do so if you weren't already going in there anyway. Even now, I suppose you could still leave it be if you want. But if you don't mind cutting that bit, it would help me out when it comes time to edit.

There were several spots where there's a long gap that doesn't belong, sometimes in the middle of a sentence. I can cut these down, of course, but you might want to check for that in your next ones.
Hi so sorry in the delay in editing this section. I have now completed the edits. I tried my voice last weekend but was still a little croaky. Hope it now sounds ok. Not sure how the gaps got there a mystery but I have sorted them now. Any problems let me know. I will be getting on with the rest of the recordings this weekend and next week as I am now on my school holidays.

Wow, thank you for powering through these so quickly! I like the calm unshaken air you've given her. I was able to mark about half of these PL ok right away, nice work! There are a few missing lines or slips that need to be addressed, and some optional notes as well, things that sound a bit off, but don't necessarily change the meaning. It's up to you to address those or not, just as you think.

Section 1:
Missing part of voice credit. It should be: "Mrs. Lambert, her mother, read by..."
You ended too early! Mrs. Lambert still has more lines, on pages 9-12 of the script.

2 PL ok!

Section 5:
Again, you broke off too early! You have more lines on pages 6 and 7.

9 PL ok!

Section 10:
4:55 OPTIONAL This may not be a big deal, but the inflection here makes part of this question sound like a statement: "Someone has a message for you. Mrs. Rice?" Whereas the whole thing should be a question: "Someone has a message for you, Mrs. Rice?" Have a listen for yourself and see what you think. This is p. 7 of the script.
5:17 I'll call this one OPTIONAL as well. There is a word switch, but you've still given it a rising inflection, so it sounds like a question still. Script says "Is it someone for Mrs. Rice?" I hear "It is someone for Mrs. Rice?" (p. 8)

Section 12:
1:01 Changed word that give this phrase a different meaning. Script says, "You may turn on the light, Anthony." (p. 6) I hear, "You may turn to the light, Anthony."

13-17 are PL ok!

Section 18:
3:50 Missing line: "No." (page 9 of the script)

20-21 PL ok!

Section 22:
0:41 Added a negative here. Script says, "Why should I?" (p. 2 of the script) I hear, "Why shouldn't I?"
2:32 There is a little stumble here: "...and it it- is entirely in his hands." Could you give that another go? (p. 3)
4:30 Added a negative here as well. Script says, "...and that means I live in the past more and more." (p. 3) I hear, "...and that means I live in the past no more."
4:36 I am going to call this one OPTIONAL. There are a couple of words missing (underlined), and it sounds a bit strange to my ear, but I think it's understandable. See what you think. Script says, "I can imagine myself as I was when..." I hear, "I can imagine myself as when..."
6:05 The inflection here makes it sound as if Mrs. Lambert is speaking to Mr. Clarke. But in fact, Tony and Mr. Clarke are the same person. :) "And, besides, she has been promised for two years to Tony—Mr. Clarke." In standard PL, I suppose this would qualify as an OPTIONAL suggestion, but in the context of the story, it sounds odd.
9:12 This last note is 100% my fault, and if it had been the only note on this section, I would not have mentioned it. But, due to hasty scripting, I colored this line for you, and it should be for Morton instead: "And please don't distress her to-night. Let her live this evening as a joyous girl, undisturbed even by my question." Would you mind deleting that please, since you're in there making edits anyway?

Hi there! Sorry I've been MIA. I the last couple weeks have been crazy with birthday's and anniversaries and other projects. But things are slowing down and I can start working through the list this weekend. Sorry for the delay!

The rest of Kate's sections are in the MW! Whew, I haven't recorded that much at one go in quite some time.

I'm going to take a little break and go grab some dinner. I'll try to PL some more roles this evening.

Hi Devorah,
That is a lot of recording--great that you finished the sections, though. I will work on the PL for Kate this week.

Morton is PL ok for sections 19, 20, and 21! :D

You may be right about that last line in section 20. It seems to me like something that a man from the West would be more likely to say, but Mr. Lambert hasn't been mentioned for a little while, so it probably is supposed to be Morton. Thanks for catching that!

Thank you for these, nice work! I found Dr. Weissman to be a fascinating character. I feel like I want a prequel to this book that focuses on his young life. I only need two things from you. One of them has to do with the voice credit, so since the other note is in Section 19, may as well make both changes in that file.

Missing part of voice credit, underlined: "Dr. Weissman, her investigator, read by..."
8:58 Missing a word (underlined), which reverses the sentence. Text reads (p. 7 of the script): "We must not assume too much." I hear: "We must assume too much."

This play looks very interesting. :)
I would like to please read "A Reporter", and "Waltie, her poltergeist".
This is my first Dramatic Work, in case there is anything special I need to know, besides what is already in the main post.
Thank you!

Oops! Yep I definitely messed that line up! I'll make the changes ASAP and re-upload the file. Glad you enjoyed the rendition, like you say, would be interesting to know his back story.
