I would be interested in the PL role for this project if you still need someone. I've recently had more experience with plays, but this will be my first dramatic reading. Please let me know when I'm needed and if there are any particular instructions.

Thanks,
Lora
I have the first few sections for Kate in the MW ready for PL. Would you like to PL these for me? Of course, I know that you only signed up to PL the finished chapters, which won't be ready for quite some time still, and Kate doesn't technically need to be PLed, since I will be editing. But I always appreciate an extra set of ears! If you don't mind double checking my role, I'd be grateful, but of course if you don't have time just now, I understand. :)

I can take Pratt's usher, if you like. It would be using a very different voice from Anthony Clarke.

I appreciate the offer, but no. I don't want Clarke to be double cast, for the same reasons I gave above regarding Mrs. Lambert. What's more, these small parts are ideal for new readers looking to get their feet wet with dramatic readings, so I don't have any fears about eventually filling them all. :)

Hi Devorah,
I would be happy to PL Kate for you as long as you can hang in there until I return home on Friday from being out of town. I can try to get some listening in during the next few days, but it might be tough. Just let me know and I'll proceed as I can.

Thanks,
Lora

Whoops, thank you for pointing that out! Looks like I overlooked it. I have it in the MW now!

Thank you for all these! I don't know if I'll be able to PL them all tonight. I have a book group starting in less than an hour. But I look forward to hearing your role!

I do want to point out that it looks like you got a bit mixed up on the file naming, and I think it's due to one of the ways that DRs are different from other kinds of projects. For most dramatic projects, the sections in the MW will be rearranged frequently. As parts are submitted and marked PL ok, they are dragged down to the bottom of the MW, so the section numbers are always changing. For instance, only a few days ago, Clarke's sections were not 7-20, but rather 15-28, because I had not yet PLed any of Mrs. Lambert's files. Now some of them are PL ok, so they are further down in the MW instead of above Clarke's role. Rather than using the section number of where your role currently is in the MW (which will change), you should use the number it is labeled with. So these should have been numbered 02, 04, 05, 06, 08, etc. I hope this explanation makes sense.

For now, I think I have entered everything into the MW where it ought to go, so I don't think that you'll necessarily need to re-upload with corrected numbering. Although it may be confusing if I end up having notes for you once I've listened, especially once the MW changes again. So perhaps it would be easier after all to correct the numbering now rather than later?

Well, in any case, we will get it figured out in the end! :D Thanks again!

Okay, I get it now. You are correct - I got confused when the term "section" was used to mean two different things. I have reuploaded with the corrected naming convention.

Once again, I have discovered another error in my scripting. All I can do is to keep apologizing, folks... :? That must be all of them by now, right? Almost all? Right???

Algy, I need a line from you in section 12: "What do you mean? Do you want to kill the psychic?" This is on page 6 of the script, and I have bolded it so that you can find it easily, if you want to check the surrounding context. You can submit it in its own file if you like. So sorry about this!

Excellent work on Clarke! Especially as he starts to see things crumbling around him, his desperation is almost palpable! I only have on note for you, in section 2, but it is optional. If you think it is fine as is, just say so and I'll mark it PL ok.

Section 2:
4:49 OPTIONAL pronunciation note. The last word here, animalculae, has an extra syllable which you're missing, the final syllable that makes the word plural. An-i-mal-kyool-ay. However, in spite of Clarke's apparent knowledge of this topic, he has never formally studied it that we know of, and this mispronunciation seems to fit with someone who has gotten all of his knowledge from books, as I imagine he has. Your call to leave it or change it.

Ah, Algy just sent me this line through PM, so we have it taken care of now. Thanks! :D It's linked in the MW.
