Welcome to LibriVox, Grace! I have signed you up for Part 31 (Madame Charpentier), but not Part 65 (the police inspector), because the casting for this project is gender-specific. Some dramatic readings (DRs) have gender-neutral casting. Whether a DR has gender-specific or gender-neutral casting is normally stated on the first page of the project thread. I hope you'll have fun recording Madame Charpentier and that you'll decide to stick around and participate in other DRs!

You most certainly may, Mark! I see that your one-minute test has been approved. Thanks for choosing this project for your first recording on LibriVox!

Because this is your first time contributing to a LibriVox project, there are a few details we need to sort out before I can sign you up. Firstly, I need to know how you want your name to appear in the catalogue once the project is complete. Most people choose either their username or their real name. Would you prefer be credited as mockbridge or Mark Stockbridge? Also, some readers include a link to their personal website where they advertise their voice acting. Would you like your voice credit to include a link to a personal website of yours?

Cool! I'd like to go by Mark Stockbridge please.
And I have a website - it's general portfolio but features voice work I did in my cartoon: http://portfolio.mockbridge.com

Welcome to LibriVox! Before you can sign up for parts, you will need to complete a one-minute test. Here is an explanation of how to do so: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Once your test is complete and it has been declared PLOK, you are welcome to post back here to sign up for a role. You may also find the Newbie Guide to Recording helpful: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording

Thank you for your interest in contributing to projects on LibriVox! I hope you'll stick around.

They're very short recordings. I'll be editing Chapter seven tomorrow.

Jefferson Hope, Part 2 Chapter 4, duration 2:35

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/studyscarlet_jeffersonhope_2_04.mp3

I recorded a line that was colored for John Ferrier but seemed to belong to Jefferson Hope: “If they are too many for us we shall take two or three of them with us,”
