I recorded a line that was colored for John Ferrier but seemed to belong to Jefferson Hope: “If they are too many for us we shall take two or three of them with us,”

Mike
Thank you for catching that error in the colour-coded text, Mike! I have fixed it.

Hello, Rafe. Great recording!

PL Notes on lestrade_1_06, lestrade _1_07, and lestrade_2_06

There's just one detail, and it concerns the voice credit, which is expected to be given in the first file only (lestrade_1_03). Other than that, everything's perfect. :D

Quoting from the first post:

For individual roles:
Submit one file per act. At the beginning of the first file, say:

"Character, read by your name."

(I think this requirement has to do with the final editing process.)

Have a great weekend.

Oops - do you want me to remove those from the start of the latter three files and re-upload?

Poor Enoch Drebber. Nobody loves him, the wretch. I’d like to give him a try (sections 35, 36, and 37). I’ve downloaded the color-coded files. I didn’t notice an instruction about pausing between each line: I assume for ease of editing there should be a second or two of silence between each individual line?

Thank you for selecting this project for your first dramatic reading (DR) contribution on LibriVox, Tad! I have signed you up for Enoch Drebber.

The instruction you are looking for about space between lines is located a bit below the magic window (MW). Here's what it says: "Leave 3-5 seconds of space between your lines (room noise, not generated silence)."

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I hope you like recording for this DR enough to participate in some others!
