Hi Joanna,
It's all good--as Mike says, it can be tricky and he's got the really tough editing part! PL Okay for the Sentry and 1st Page.
Thanks,
Lora

De Guiche act 5

I have now played De Guiche in both LV versions of this play. The first version had some problems, I have high hopes of this one

Thank you! One reminder I have for you is, in the future, make sure to leave three to five seconds between each stage direction to make editing easier.Trutter00 wrote: ↑June 20th, 2021, 3:55 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/cyranodebergerac_sdpersons_rostand_128kb.mp3 timing at 4:41

I volunteer to do some of the miscellaneous female voices - such as Lady, Woman, Comedienne - depending on how many of these small, one and two line roles you want people to do.

Thank you, Kelly! For now, I'm limiting readers who are doing the smaller parts to just one character per act, maximum. Take your pick of any unclaimed part in each act. In addition, there are also lines spoken by the crowd, etc., that need to be read.

Hello TRutter,
For the Dramatis Personae, I have the following PL notes: when I ran the file through Checker, the volume comes up a bit low at 85.4 dB; overall it should range from 87-91; I also wondered if the characters below "The Persons" list (The Crowd, Citizens...Nuns, etc.) should be included. I'll let Mike comment on both of these points so you know what to do.
Thanks!
Lora

Lora, I already told her that she could ignore the additional characters for now; I can edit in the appropriate voice credits when I do the final compilation. As for volume, it's a very good idea to download Checker and use it every time before submitting a file. If it comes in low, Amplify by whatever the difference is in dB to get it within the correct range. In this case, I'd probably Amplify by 4 dB.ADKreader1122 wrote: ↑June 22nd, 2021, 2:31 pm Hello TRutter,

Hi, Zanna, welcome to LibriVox! I see you've already completed your one-minute test. I'll put you down for 1st Comedienne. When we credit you in the catalog, is there another name you'd like to be listed as?
Mike
