Act 3 clocks at 41:15 and as an added bonus, it passed!
Trish, one additional note on something that I just noticed. Make sure that you begin each act exactly as directed in the first post in this thread:
For narration/stage directions:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
Say:
"Act # of Cyrano de Bergerac, by Edmond Rostand, translated by Brian Hooker. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org."
At the end of each file say:
"End of Act #."
For the final act, add:
"End of Cyrano de Bergerac, by Edmond Rostand, translated by Brian Hooker."
Leave 5 seconds of silence at the end.
You've been varying what you've been saying for the first three acts, but it does need to be consistent, not just internally for this play but to match the other works on LibriVox.
I won't ask you to resubmit the acts that have already been marked PL OK, but could you perhaps submit a new file with just the openings and closings of the acts you've already done. I can edit that into the final versions. Thanks.
Mike
Ok, do you want “translated by” or the script version of “a new version in English verse by” and do you want the “An heroic comedy in 5 acts”?

For the intro to each of the five acts, use the LibriVox script, as given in the initial post. The only thing that changes each time is the act number. From that point on, read from the text of the play script, beginning with the title of the act.
For the Dramatic Personae file, I think it should be "Dramatis Personae of Cyrano de Bergerac, by Edmond Rostand, translated by Brian Hooker. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org. Cyrano de Bergerac, an Heroic Comic in Five Acts, a new version in English Verse by Brian Hooker. The Persons..." and then at the end, "End of Dramatis Personae of Cyrano de Bergerac."

I would like to take Vicomte de Valvert if still available.
Valvert is still available, but I want to limit readers to one role per act. You're already reading Christian in the first four acts, and I'd like to encourage a variety of voices in each act.
