Yes, you can have Ragueneau. He's not a cutpurse -- he's a baker, patron of the arts, and one of Cyrano's close friends. You were misreading the cast list -- the listings in the second column aren't the descriptions of the first column characters, but even more characters. It's a cast of thousands.

Ah, thank you. You are exactly correct.

Hi Mike!
I think I'm coming up on the 2 month mark of claiming Roxane. May I ask for a short extension?

Don't worry about it. I knew from the start that this project would take a very long time to complete -- most parts aren't even claimed yet -- so you won't be holding things up if you need extra time. Besides, I'm sure your interpretation of Roxane will be worth waiting for.

I've read bit parts in acts 2 and 5 already, but may I also claim the First Page in Act 1, the First Page in Act 3, and the Sentry on the Parapet in Act 4?

Absolutely -- wonderful that you're taking on five different roles in five different acts!JoannaHoyt wrote: ↑June 12th, 2021, 8:53 am I've read bit parts in acts 2 and 5 already, but may I also claim the First Page in Act 1, the First Page in Act 3, and the Sentry on the Parapet in Act 4?

And here are my remaining bit parts.
1st Page, act 1, 4:30
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/cyranodebergerac_1stpage_1.mp3
1st Page, act 3, 0:39
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/cyranodebergerac_1stpage_3.mp3
Sentry on Parapet, act 4, 0:28
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/cyranodebergerac_sentryonparapet_4.mp3
In my Page parts I've taken the liberty of singing very badly, which is a rather fun thing to do. Let me know if either chanting without melody or actual tuneful singing would be preferable and I'll re-record accordingly (to the best of my ability, in the case of tunefulness).
