I have given him an English accent as it was fashionable for New York families to have an "English" butler, even a phony one
I wonder how those New Yorkers are going to react to a shout of "Tea Up!".

Queued for PL.

 so sorry, Alan, how could I have overlooked this file for five days :? You should have given me a nudge.

But I listened to it now and your butlering is perfect. The right contempt in your "yes sirs" as well (reminds me of Fry's Jeeves)

Only two lines missed:

> at about 1:49: (p. 15) please insert another round of: "Yes, sir ?" and "Yes, sir." ;)

thanks

Not everyone is as superfast with PL as you, on some projects you can wait for weeks. I have one DW role waiting 4 weeks for PL and that is on one of Todd's projects :help:

yes but in this case it was not because I didn't have time, but I really missed your post and since the MW wasn't updated yet, I also didn't see the outstanding PL job. :? Sending me a quick PM after more than 2 days would have nudged me ;)

Act 1 is now PL ok, but you'll have to butler a bit more in Act 3...

> at about 0:55: (p. 97) you missed this entire page, where Johnson says no less than 7 quotes ;) starting with "Oh, beg pardon, sir but..." and ending with "Yes, sir. The Countess de Bowreen."

thank you

I am making a real mess of this. I shall be dismissed from my post as butler if I don't take more care

She does start out that way, doesn't she?

But the gal with her eye on the main chance does come through for her guy in the end, so ... it's all good!

Queued for PL.

wohooo, Annie, this was a great performance. I love the character portrayal you did for Mary, first so calculating, but then having real feelings, and still very business-like. Rodney doesn't really deserve her  Well done. Really enjoyed the show and I'm looking forward to hearing all this assembled.

However, there are a few missed lines and some smaller errors to correct, before I can mark them ok:

Act 1:
> voice credit: actually you didn't have to include "Rodney's girlfriend" here as this was not mentioned in the original script, so this part can get cut
> at 0:40: (p. 6) "Tell her that Mr Martin Senior can see no one." – you forgot to say "senior"
> at about 16:10: (p. 23) please insert: "What idea ? What book ?"
> at about 18:04: (p. 25) please insert: "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Act 2:
> at 0:34: (p. 54) "Quite right – in business hours, only business" – you say twice "business hours", but she meant here, "during business hours, we will only focus on business", so the second "hours" needs to be cut and maybe you want to emphasize it differently, I leave that choice to you
> at 4:50: (p. 69) "that unless they get some money at once" – you say "we get"
> at 9:13: (p. 81) "if he could keep on a little longer" – you say "if you could keep"
> at 13:01: (p. 86) "So have I" – you say "so do I", this may be optional, but since Peale first says "I have got one", usually you would reply with the same auxiliary verb "have"

Act 3:
> at about 1:55: (p. 91) please insert: "Tell him about it, Rodney."
> at about 3:22: (p. 103) please insert: "Where is father ?"
> at about 4:50: (p. 106) please insert: "Have a chair ?"

thanks

whoops, Alan, sorry, I must have missed this part, it didn't show up yet on my PL list. But listened to it now, and WOW, you are one tough guy here, not to be messed with. A far cry from the bumbling old lordships  I extremely liked the performance.

One small bit which I think is wrong, but maybe my ears play tricks on me, could you have another listen please ?

> at 2:15: (p. 69) "you haven't any money in the bank" – I hear "you have many money" :?

thanks
