silverquill wrote: June 11th, 2021, 6:53 am Well, I don't think I should do Jane  but I would be glad to take Shore in act 5 Quite an emotional conclusion!
Oops. My mistake. He's been disguised as another character, so it's already been recorded.

Sorry,
Wendy
Michelle has been gracious enough to take on the role of Jane, so she won't be able to play Jane's servant. Are you interested? Feel free to say no if you'd rather not. I just thought I'd offer since I messed up before. :)

Thanks,
Wendy
Just sitting down to record Shore, so I'm shore glad I checked this thread first.
Not a problem at all; it's a great scene and I'm sure masterfully done.

I see just one line for the servant in each of Acts I and II, so I'll record those instead.

PL Notes for Hastings

Act 1

1:02 repeat of 'And wakes to sigh the live-'

Act 2
1:54 pronunciation of 'undoes'

I hear 'undoos' it should be 'unduzz'

2:19 should be 'Go to—be yet advis'd—

I heard 'but yet advised'

3:42 repeat of 'but soft ye now'

Act 3
00:37 the line is 'Your highness binds me ever to your service.'
I heard 'Your highness bids me ever to your service.'

2:35 to 2:56
repeat of 'Curse on the innovating hand attempts it!
Remember him, the villain, righteous heaven,'

Just as a heads up for future recordings please make sure you leave a 3-4 second silence when there is a stage direction within your characters speech. e.g.

Lord H. Insolent villain! henceforth let this teach thee
[draws, and strikes him.]here you would leave 3 to 4 seconds of silence
The distance 'twixt a peasant and a prince.
