This is my first time trying an Australian accent. I hope it's OK!
I'm sure its great!

Thanks

Of course you can. As long as those little roles are not in the same chapter, you can claim as many of them as you like!

Hi I hope you don't mind me pointing out that the parts of Madge and Mark Frettlby are mis-spelt in the MW as Fettlby. Just in case anyone is reading them they will pronounce them incorrectly. Thanks

May I also read the gaoler? If so, might you explain to me what the word "swell" means in this context?

Thanks for the legal clerk recording - I'll PL that when I'm not on my phone!

Gaoler is now assigned to you.

I believe that "swell" is an insult about Brian, but I could be wrong.

You're quite welcome, Annie! I'm enjoying it. Here's the gaoler:

May I also read the "other male"? If so, I would be grateful for another translation: What does "swells cove's cribs" mean?

Other male in Chapter 18 has been assigned to you.

I have to admit though, some of the old fashioned Aussie street slang escapes me as to meaning. I think Swell, like with the gaoler is similar to 'Toff' but as to 'cove's cribs' I don't have a clue. Sorry!
