Real life keeps getting in the way. The other half next couple of days. I noticed that no one PL-ed chapter seven so I repeated it up there
Hey there - I found a line in Chapter 16 that had not been separated for Brian Fitzgerald. (pasted below with context)

If you can record it and name the file: hansom_brianfitzgerald_16supp

Thanks

-----------

Meanwhile Calton had seen Brian several times, and used every argument in his power to get him to tell everything, but he either maintained an obstinate silence, or merely answered,

Brian Fitzgerald: “It would only break her heart."

Narrator: He admitted to Calton, after a good deal of questioning, that he had been at Mother Guttersnipe's on the night of the murder. After he had left Whyte by the corner of the Scotch Church, as the cabman—Royston—had stated, he had gone along Russell Street, and met Sal Rawlins near the Unicorn Hotel. She had taken him to Mother Guttersnipe's, where he had seen the dying woman, who had told him something he could not reveal.
Duncan Calton: "Well,"
Narrator: said Mr. Calton, after hearing the admission,
Duncan Calton: "you might have saved us all this trouble by admitting this before, and yet kept your secret, whatever it may be. Had you done so, we might have got hold of Sal Rawlins before she left Melbourne; but now it's a mere chance whether she turns up or not."
Narrator: Brian did not answer to this; in fact, he seemed hardly to be thinking of what the lawyer was saying; but just as Calton was leaving, he asked—
Brian Fitzgerald: "How is Madge?"

May I be an old man (Valpy)?
Hey there :)

I've finished going through all the Chapter Scripts, so they're all set for narrator. (I took Valpy off for you)

In each script, I inserted the intro/ending for that section, so you won't have to think about those or reference elsewhere.

I also extended the colors through all the character lines - my middle-aged eyes have a much easier time with editing that way, and it sure makes the scripts feel a lot less daunting for narration. The good news is that the vast majority of these chapters have dense character dialogue. A couple of sections have only the into/ending for narrator. :)

Thank you so very much for helping us out this way. You are VERY much appreciated.

Chapter 34 - 3:19
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mysteryofahansomcab_mrkilsip_34_hume_128kb.mp3

I didn't record the following sentence on Chapter 34, as it appears to belong to the narrator:
Mr. Kilsip: "And what would Gorby say?—Gorby, who had laughed at all his ideas as foolish, and who had been quite wrong from the first. If only—"

Cheers
Hello!

I PL'd this one file of yours while I'm processing the supp file for it - supp file is PL OK, but there is one phrase in the main Ch. 34 Mr. Kilsip file that needs a fix:

At 1:21 we have: "that is, the day he got it,"

but we need it to say: "that is, the day after he got it,"

could be an important difference in a murder mystery.

Oh! P.S. I *love* the way you stated the line, "for the murder of Oliver Whyte!" Perfect amount of drama in it!

So fast! Thank you very much. There is one last hidden line I'd found for this character, ch. 22, that I sent shortly after you'd posted these, looks like.

Sure do appreciate everyone's help getting these squared away.

Would you accept my playing multiple roles? I'll ensure they're not in the same chapter, and I use different voices.

- Herald Newsperson
- Traveller
- Talleyrand
- Sancho Panza
- Writer

If you don't like to have multiple roles, feel free to pick for me.
