I don't think I'd suit those roles, as I have the voice of a transgender man! I know my name can be confusing. As such, I kind of sound like a teenage boy or young man. Are there any roles that that kind of voice might suit?
I'm so sorry about that. I'll step down and let Annie suggest a role for you.
No worries! I take no offense.
Sorry for the stumbling steps! This is my first time doing any volunteering here, and I'm still trying to find my feet. I'm going through the text now and trying to figure out what might work. Thanks for your energy and time!

Thank you for being kind. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot with anyone.
I did participate in a Dramatic Reading when I first started as well. I picked one line but you don't have to do the same.
Let us know when you find a character that you would like to play. And Annie will assign you the role.
I'm looking forward to your Dramatic debut.
Thanks, SaraHale.
Constructive criticism is always welcome.
I would like to put in a bid for the part of Dr Robert Chinston — unless there is a requirement that an Australian accent be attempted. I don't have any training in accents. I'm pretty comfortable tackling a dramatic role using variations of my own (US) voice, but an attempt to sound like I was from anywhere else would be laughable.
Hey, thanks for the quick upload. I'll mark this one as PL Notes to check with Annie.
I know the recording passed Checker validation but the credit is low volume (it needs to be amplified by +4.3dB) and the line is high volume (it needs to be de-amplified by -3.1 dB).
This may be done by Annie during the editing, I think. I'll have to check with her.

Understood and Thank you. I'm following the instructions on downloading ReplayGain and watching Phil's video so I am better equipped for more thorough editing. Am standing by if Annie has instructions that I should redo my audio files.
I bravely venture down those roads less traveled but not without applying sunblock first

Happy to help! Yeah, we'll wait for Annie.

Thank You Sara. Saw your notes, not quite sure how i managed to miss so many lines. i probably cut them out of my working copy when I was doing the amplification. It will be fixed shortly.
I have already lowered the volume on the files noted by you in the MW. I will upload the lot together, probably tomorrow.

Thanks, Cavaet! Yeah, it happened to me once. I cut sentences while editing when I first started.
Do you use Macros in Audacity? They are a lifesaver.
Thanks, SaraHale.

BTW, I recorded the line "I know that" from Chapter 5 page 5, but I believe it should really belong to Gorby.
Thanks,
Wendy
