You liked The Wonder! by Centlivre with its Spanish setting and intrigue? Here is an actual Spanish comedy (translated in 1807) with similar vintage and feel - but funny so it is even better. Professions of love, scaling garden walls, protecting family honor, mistaking intentions - hence the title, etc.

Our Kitty will be playing the clever maid, keeping track of all the various domestic comings and goings - and of course in addition to knowing what you do, she'll be DPL'ing what you say.
