Still need someone to read the stage directions?
I'd be glad to take that on.

Here's the correction. I imagine that was inaccurate editing.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I tried to make this a character you wouldn't particularly like - vain and cruel.
I think, in hindsight, I should have made him a bumbling fool. Oh well.

I know what you mean, yes he definitely has that streak. I am always looking forward to the personal interpretations of some characters, which sometimes differ from what I initially thought. It's part of the excitement and fun here in the drama forum. :9:

Thank you, this is PL ok now

 how did you know !!! well...you didn't miss six asides, but I found six spots to edit  no partridge in a pear tree though...

Act 1:
> at about 3:21: (p. 247) please insert: "exit" (there should be two in succession)
> at about 5:36: (p. 259) please insert: "Enter Donna Anna and Juana"
> at 6:23: (p. 264) "Juana, aside" – name missing

Act 2:
> at 4:35: (p. 293) "Donna Isabella, aside" – name missing

Act 3:
> at 1:35: (p. 312) "Don Lewis to Martin" – title missing
> at about 2:43: (p. 319) missed line: "Enter Don Cosmo"

thank you, Larry, for the fast turn-around ! Excellent narrations, as always ! And sorry for the delay in PL feedback...weekend was busy and I am only now catching up.

and last but not least, the huge role of Don Lewis. Excellent job, Greg  wow this was a big part. And I got more and more confusing by who is dating whom here. Those pesky veils make it so hard to know who each man is talking to.

Act 1 is straight PL ok.

Two small notes to edit for the other acts though:

Act 2:

> at 7:49: (p. 303) "but hear me madam" – you say "bear me", which sounds a bit odd, since she replies "what would you say"

Act 3:

> at 0:52: (p. 313) "he chooses his messenger well" – "chuses" is an old spelling of "chooses"

thanks

Sonia,

Thank you for the quick PL-ing! I did not do too bad in the mistakes area if I do say so myself! I will have the corrections made shortly.

This was a nice change up for me. I tried to downplay the part a bit since I did not see the character as "over the top" as the last one or two I have read. I hope I did it justice. I was not familiar with the play before I began so I hope I pulled off the good Don Lewis the way he deserved.

Thanks again for all the hard work YOU do!

Take care,

Greg

P.S. Please keep me on your casting list. My projects are almost complete so am in the market for another good cast to join.
