Great role, great acting! I love your line about closing your eyes so as not to see yourself cut to pieces. And then, getting a veil, you say that you are "not half so much afraid now; for a woman who can hide her face may escape from any perplexity."

PL OK.

Thanks, Todd

Don Cosmo awaits in the MW.

He is, er, not well behaved. Don't delay too long in listening or he will have fought duels with all the other male characters, built a ladder out of the file links and PL OKs, and escaped from the MW with all the female characters in tow while leaving their veils behind.....

Thanks, Todd

haha, I see you work in naming patterns

Donna Anna is a wonderful performance, thank you Annie :9: you give her the right mix of flustered/scared but also adamant/cunning to get out of her troubles. Nice portrayal and great reading.

Act 2 can be marked PL ok right away.

A few corrections for the other two acts though:

Act 1:
> at 4:53: (p. 268) stumble and repeat "which were passing by to Leganitos" – can be cut once

Act 3:
> at about 0:10: (p. 324 & 325) two missed quotes on these pages: "Have I not contrived it admirably ?" and "I may be sure that my letter..." (etc...10 lines in total) till "...as he has of Don Cosmo."

> at 3:13: (p. 329) "Do you know to whom it is that you are speaking ?" – you say "I do not know whom it is that you are speaking" which changes the meaning significantly

> at 7:01: (p. 344) "than the confusion which will overwhelm me" – you say "confession" if I hear correctly

thanks

 this introduction made me already chuckle (and you elicited more chuckles during the performance ;) ) Don Cosmo is such a bragging fop, but you play him excellently. I like the veering between smugness and cowardice in his character. Wonderful playacting !

Acts 2 and 3 straight PL ok.

But you managed to miss your very first appearance in the play

Act 1:
> at about 0:08: (p. 248) "Pray, Don Lewis, stay a minute. I would speak one word with you."

Thanks

Sonia
