wow, Act 4 was huge a big talker. Thank you so much, Jim, for helping out here ! And the role characterisation was well done, I loved the moments were you show outrage mostneecheelok70 wrote:Here is Section 9: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/bacchides_chrysalus_2.mp3

Only careful when stage directions are inside your speech, then you need to leave 2-3 seconds of silence as well, for Todd to edit. Sometimes you forgot that here. But no need to reupload, the space is still large enough to fiddle with.
As for Act 5, I don't think Chrysalus shows up there. I see you included the final speech, but actually we decided early on that this one will only be done by the two twin sisters instead of the entire company (easier to merge as well). Sorry for this extra work
Acts 2 and 4 are PL ok though !
Thanks
Sonia
thank you, Alan, all the lines (and scraps) are in I also wonder why so many lines are incomplete. Probably a shredded manuscriptalanmapstone wrote: ↑April 17th, 2021, 12:17 amServant to Pistoclerus act 1

I have just recorded what scraps of dialogue there are and will leave it to Todd to turn it into something usable
PL ok
Sonia
actually as long as you stay consistent within your speeches, the pronunciation is optional for each reader. so your performance is excellent, Rob, the captain came through even more likeable than I first expected I liked it. And it's totally PL ok.RobMarland wrote: ↑April 18th, 2021, 10:40 amHere it is for PL.

I wasn't sure about a name pronunciation and how a couple of the other lines should be read (the context being a bit obscure) so I recorded different versions for you to choose between in the edit.
Thank you, happy to have you in another play and I hope it won't be the last...there are some others that still wait for final roles to be snatched
Act 2 is READY TO EDIT already

(yay ) there are a few roles I would see you in...let's see if you find them
Sonia
(Good way to write that comment, Sonia. Now Rob'll have to volunteer for every role still open in every play that is not already full to find out which ones you meant!)
Thanks, Todd

I can do Lydus, I think, because Chrysalus was only in 2 and 4, if I am seeing correctly. But I will wait for your response on the matter. Jim
I would prefer to NOT have one person do both these parts since they interleave between the acts and could confuse a listener.
Thank you though, Todd
