and the lovely naughty Fay...your accent is perfect, Jenn, and absolutely easy to understand. I can imagine a kid growing up semi-wild among Italians would sound like this

And you are preparing the audience already to a budding love for Sir George with the sweet smitten undertone you sometimes put on.

I love the Italian accent, you are quite good at it, do you speak the language ? In any case it sounds really genuine.

I studied several languages in college for my major (music/opera) and Italian was the one I knew best though I am/was by no means fluent and have forgotten most of it since I stopped using it. One of my favorite memories of studying Opera in Rome for a summer was practicing Italian with a gentleman who owned the most charming bookstore down the road from where I stayed. He spoke to me in English to practice and I spoke to him in Italian. Good memories, sorry to ramble

Well I thought that was an odd bit to leave out so I went back to my original recording (I always save a recording file and an editing file) and sure enough, that line was there! Must have accidentally cut it when editing. Should be there now:

so cool, you studied music

and yes Italian is an important language for opera I dare say. I think you never really forget the Italian pronunciation once you know it, of all the languages it was the easiest to learn for me. The pronunciation basically doesn't have exceptions.

She does become a bit less wild in the end. Very nice to see a change of character, she was starting to exasperate me a bit in Act 4
