Looks great!

Wish I had time for a larger role, but could I put in an early claim for
the Rev Dr Remnant (elderly parson) Act 2
the Rev Dr Remnant (elderly parson) Act 3

But, he also pops in for at least one line in Act 4 on p. 74

Thanks for pointing out the line I missed Larry, much appreciated. Yes once an MC takes this on I will mark the role as claimed.

I can't MC this; I don't have room on my MC plate. However, as you are a relative newbie, I wanted to caution you about BCing a play, which is loads harder than BCing a regular group project.

Have you read this and understand it? viewtopic.php?f=27&t=44647

Are you going to do all the editing?

Are you going to check all the tech specs?

It might be wise to begin by BCing and editing a one-act play first, to get your feet wet. Here's the current collection: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=84428

Hello Tricia,
Thank you for your comments. I am planning to look after all of the editing and technical specs myself. I am very accustomed to using sound editing programs although Audacity is very recent for me to become acquainted with. I have used various others such as Sony Sound Forge, Diamond Cut, and three or four others that I no longer make use of. I would only need to get help with the proof listening. I am aware this will be a large project and as I am retired, I have plenty of time to devote to pulling it all together.

Thanks for the link I had read it but I had not remembered about the coder for the cast list.

So you wish to be the handsome gardener do you? Absolutely I will put you in. Interesting play on words giving him the family name of "Abud".

Ok - slightly against my better judgment because I believe dramatic works are a hard first BC project, I'll set this up for you.

You have a MW - you didn't goof trying to get in - you just were not allowed until you were added to the BC list (levels of security :D ) . I've done that
So see how you go - and hopefully people will wait till you have the MW set up (that's your job) before rushing in to claim parts.
You will be your own BC (book coordinator). That means that you will enter the links to your recordings into the Magic Window (MW) (the scrolling window in the first post). Here is a document that explains how to get into the MW the first time:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxWB83bbALTQYjlENGZ0SVJUWWs

And here is another document that explains how to keep the MW up to date etc:

Good luck

Hello Anne,
Thank you very much, I won't disappoint you, although I may ask advice from time to time. I will start sifting through it all tomorrow.

I'll help if I can but I've only ever setup Everyman - which was pretty easy - and finished off a few where the BC disappeared. Todd has play BCing down to a fine art - he is worth using as a model in that regard as you seem to be technically able .

What kind of help will you need with proof listening?

I was thinking that since you'll be downloading files to edit, you could also proof listen to the parts-files, and then when it's assembled I could proof listen to the final files, if that plan suits you.
