Thanks to TJ for taking on the DPL role

I have used my usual attempted US accent here. Its probably not right for the Mid-West (more Beverley Hillbillies) but its the only one I can do :help:
You're very welcome! I love your Beverly Hillbillies accent, Alan! It's perfect for country boy, Goldie!
adrianstephens wrote: February 24th, 2021, 11:59 am I once read a piece in my "american" accent and was confidently identified as being Canadian.
That takes some courage!
Ha!

I will get to listening to all your parts ASAP! (No tomatoes please... ).

 I love your portrayal of Goldie, Alan! You had me laughing out loud! Nice -- Act 1 is PL OK!

There were a couple of deviations from script in Act 1 that didn't change the meaning any, so I won't mention them.

I'll just point out this one word, which I also don't think changes the meaning and could be left as is:
0:50
It must be nearly time to open the postoffice, isn't it. Mr. Peavy? -- you say "reopen"

Todd? (You see, I'm a little nervous with all this power... ).

Here's the updated Act 1.

If there are more errors or misspoken lines please do point them out. I'm happy to fix them :D
(You might become the DPL who's too nice if you don't pick on us!)

Annie

lol! Too true, Annie. If I start letting things slip by, the cast members may all become complacent and lazy, and walk all over me...

Octavia, Act 1, is now PL OK!

Thanks, Annie!

And then things will be missing in final edit and you will Face the Wrath of Todd (aka Mr Marshmallow...)

Thanks, Todd

It's certainly a change from esculent fish. Inspired by the indomitable Mr Mapstone, I may have committed a crime against good taste
in that I attempted an accent somewhere west of Ireland and east of Yakutsk.
So I had to look up Yakutsk on the map, and after having done so, I have to say you have hit the dialect (within that geographical range) perfectly! Nice work, Adrian.

Act 1 Notes:

MISSING LINE at about 0:54 (p.9):
STEVE (takes parcel from pocket). It isn't much. (Hands it to her.) I hope you'll wear it at your birthday party tonight.

MISSING LINE at about 3:16 (p. 13):
STEVE. I don't know what you're talking about.

EXTRA LINE at 4:51-4:55 (p. 14) -- you have recorded part of a line that belongs to Peavy:
It's just my little joking way. Can't you take a joke? (So please cut that section out).

MISSING LINE at 4:58 (p. 14):
STEVE. Well, don't joke about me. I'm not in the mood for jokes.

REPEATED LINE at 5:21 (p. 15):
STEVE. He's just driving in. (I think you meant to cut the first one out 5:21-5:24)

EXTRA WORDS at 6:44 (p. 20):
STEVE. I'll make a payment on the first of the month. Miss G. (cut out "Miss G." - that belongs to the next line).

MISSING LINE at 9:58 (p. 27):
STEVE. (startled). What is it? What do you want?

Thanks,
TJ
