That was quick! Do you have a cast list for the catalog page?

Thanks, Todd

No. How do I do that? Is there a template?

Here is a link to the cast list inputs on a recent play: viewtopic.php?p=1883630#p1883630

I copy this into the MW database as part of the Summary text for the catalog page. For example, same project: https://librivox.org/overruled-by-george-bernard-shaw/

Thanks, Todd

Wow. I guess I'm pretty much a Luddite, because that made no sense to me at all. :) Do you mean I need to type in all that code? Or does it generate itself somehow when I put in names and roles? Sorry to be so inept.

Well, yes, all of that is needed. But you could just copy the basic structure from my link [or below] and change 1) the character name [Juno: below], 2) the reader's LV number [10737 below] - put your cursor over their name in the MW and you'll get that, and 3) the reader's display name [Aiken below] - a little harder to track down: you could ask your readers for that....

Juno: <a href="https://librivox.org/reader/10737">Aiken</a><br>

This looks perfect. I have to add it to the end of the Summary text in the MW database - you can't get to that.

Are there any other changes you want to make to the Summary text before I catalog this? (Making them to the copy in the first posting does not update the MW copy.)

Thanks, Todd

I like my summary as it currently reads in the MW: In this delightful farce/comedy of manners, the eccentric and theatrical Bliss family invites four hapless guests to their English country house for the weekend.

BTW, I PL'd most individual roles and ADKreader1122 PL'd my role and the finished acts. I'm fine if you choose to include me as a listener or not. As soon as Act 2 is PL OK we'll be good to go! It's so exciting to finish my first play as BC. :)

Thanks so much for guiding me through this!

Cataloging now.

EDIT: It is now at Archive.org where it could take 2 minutes, 2 hours, or 2 days to finish processing and be ready for release.... I'll keep checking on it. (Have to run out, will check back in a couple hours.)

Congrats!

Thanks, Todd
