Thanks for volunteering! I see you're new to the forum. Before you sign up for this project, can you first submit the "1-Minute Test" to make sure technical settings are correct, etc. The directions are here http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test. Then I'll be happy to have you be part of the project!
Great! The place to post your test file is in the Listeners & Editors Wanted section, where you'll get feedback about your recording. I can tell you, though, that you'll need to set your recording software to use a constant bit rate of 128 kbps, and adjust the volume level so that it's between 86-92 dB, as it's now a little too high.

Roger that. I've posted it, and will make those tweaks. I hope to have it up tomorrow.

Jiggs is yours. Since this is your first recording, how do you want your name to appear in the LibriVox catalog?
Mike
Christopher Foeckler is fine. Thanks! Excited to get started!
I've recorded my sections for Elijah Quimby. I'll be happy to make any changes that are needed, I'm new to dramatic readings so I am not sure if it's right.
Hi Zach,
Your recordings sound good--Act 2 is PL okay for Mr. Quimby. For Act 1 at 2:53, please omit the repetition of the phrase "Sounds like them.....don't it?"
Lora, I'm sorry I missed that repeat. I have removed it and uploaded the edited file for Act 1. Thank you for PLing, I have heard that it is a lot of work on a dramatic project.
