Do you want "Sherlock Holmes read by ..." recorded separately for each little story, or once for the whole lot?
EDIT: I'd guess that either is okay; BC's choice. But probably a single dramatis personae would work better, as Holmes, Watson, and the narrator run through all four stories.

Hi, Salvationist,
I thought I'd just let you know I'm standing by.
As this is my first DR PL project I've read the suggestions on PLing dramatized works and I check in regularly to see how the project is going forward. There's a lot for me to learn and I find this an exciting and challenging project indeed.
Also, I've read the stories. They were a pleasant discovery!
So, ready and waiting, Sir.

Thank you for the suggestion, Peter! Yes, a single dramatic personae makes sense to me.Peter Why wrote: ↑January 20th, 2021, 11:58 pm Do you want "Sherlock Holmes read by ..." recorded separately for each little story, or once for the whole lot?

Thanks for checking in, Jasna! I appreciate your willingness to take this project on as your first DR PL. I’m glad that you enjoyed reading the stories and that you’re excited about the project! I’m pretty pumped about it too.Dulcamara wrote: ↑January 21st, 2021, 3:14 pm Hi, Salvationist,

David,
I was just about to upload my Holmes files when I saw the suggested file names. May I suggest something shorter? Like NCSherlock_[story number]_[charactername]_[readerinitials].mp3 so my first would be NCSherlock_1_holmes_py.mp3
After all, they're only temporary files. Their names are only for the use of the editor; the first part needs to be unique to the project so the files can be separated in the MC's folder. And only the final, merged file needs the "_128kb".

I noticed the super long suggested file names and altered them just prior to seeing your message. Does what I came up with look reasonable? I don't think we need the reader initials, because I don't intend to have multiple readers reading the same character.Peter Why wrote: ↑January 21st, 2021, 3:42 pm David,

Oh, well, I suppose I'd better take us out of the Launch Pad, then. Off we go!

The first story is PL OK.
There is a minor thing on the second one( Section 6). At 1:18 the word 'supervision' comes a bit unclear. Other than that, everything's fine.
