Wonderful.

What I need first is a check that each reader file is complete - no lines missing; with these old scripts or even a Gutenberg transcription like this, sometimes it is hard for readers to catch all the lines.

Second, we're using standard PL, not word perfect, so minor errors are okay. But check that any errors do not change the meaning of a line - if they do, then post a note for fixing that. Note that I don't really care about how words, names, places are pronounced so long as any one reader is consistent within all their files. Different pronunciations by different characters could be accents, foreign background, pet name from when they knew the other character in childhood, etc.

The Gold Standard for PL notes? You can't go wrong if you pay attention to what Sonia (Kitty) does - including rapid turnaround so we don't lose readers and have them gone and not make fixes.

These steps give me a nice clean set of lines to work with when I start to assemble the play. That is vital, and I thank you very much for that.

Finally, I'll need you eventually to listen to the complete assembled version of each act to make sure I did not drop out things or mis-order them. I may have cut out some of the stage direction words that refer to how a line is said if the reader conveys that emotion already; I may have relocated or even added the word "aside" which is often printed in the "wrong" place in the script - at the end of lines instead of the beginning of a line where it wold be useful to a listener.

You should have MW access shortly so you can enter "See PL Notes" or "PL OK" as you review stuff.

Thank you,

Todd

This is utterly, utterly bonkers!
I was sometimes unsure about whether I was supposed to be speaking an aside.
Hi Adrian!

Bonkers indeed - but you did a wonderful job navigating the lunacy.

Acts 1 and 2 are both PL OK

Two small notes for Act 3:

1:45 - Missing "Indeed, Sir! be pleas’d, Seignior"
11:56 - Stumble / Repeat of "Most Noble Youths"

Nicely done :)

Act 2 is PL OK

A few small notes for Act 1 & Act 3:

Act 1:

3:53 - I hear "after last night's fight", rather than "after my last night’s fright."

Act 3:

2:16 - I hear "Ill-measured" rather than "Ill-natured"
2:54 - I hear "They built a Conquest" rather than "They but a Conquest"

Nicely done! :D
