Here are my lines!
I'm listed as being in Chapter 6 as well, but I couldn't find my section anywhere in the script — please point it out to me if I missed it.
I'm doing a lot of different laughs in chapter three, so I've labelled which ones are which to avoid confusion.
Let me know if there are any problems :)

Thanks, Hannah! I love your voice! I'm going to see if I can find some more lines for you. :D

A few tips for future projects, the filenames should be labeled as follows:

greatgatsby_[role]_[##]_128kb.mp3
so for your role, for example in Chapter 3:
greatgatsby_woman3_03_128kb.mp3

I was able to download these files with no problem, so you don't have to correct them now.

Also all three files have a considerable amount background noise (the sound of your computer) and you will need to noise clean. These recordings are of good quality, so I can probably do the background cleaning when I edit, but you should always background clean before submitting your recordings.

I also didn't find any lines for you in Chapter 6. I did find one line for you in Chapter 7 that I think I added after the project started, it's on page 22 and is only one word:
WOMAN 1, WOMAN 2, WOMAN 3 MAN 2, DRUNK DRIVER, CONDUCTOR, WITNESS: ‘Yea—ea—ea!’ [several times]

You could just add it to your file to Chapter 9, if you like.

I'll mark Chapters 3 & 4 as PL OK, but if you want to take a stab at noise cleaning, you can resubmit them. Just let me know.

In Chapter 9, you read Catherine's part. I know it was confusing because I changed the color-coding, but I originally had these as 3 separate roles and I decided to combine them. So please read the role of "Operator" and "Woman 3" highlighted in red in Chapter 9:

OPERATOR: ‘I’ve rung them three times.’
OPERATOR: ‘Sorry. I’m afraid no one’s there.’
WOMAN 3: ‘Blessed are the dead that the rain falls on,’

Thanks!
TJ

NOISE CLEANING:

I use the following noise cleaning settings (and I've found them to work well):
Noise Reduction (dB): 12 dB
Sensitivity: 6.00
Frequency Smoothing (bands): 3

A setting of 12 is a moderate setting (to use if you have moderate noise) - it doesn't cut out all the background noise, but you also don't get a strange echo in your voice.

my two bit parts are recorded!

I did a few variations for shrill laughing and startled scolding-- the editor can choose what/how to arrange or cut those to fit with the rest

Ooooooh, I love your dark alley, underworld voice... creepy. I see why a nice innocent boy like me would get all flustered listening to you...

I have one "note" (literally) for you on this section.

The line reads: ‘Hell of a note, isn’t it? Get my wire?’ Now I have no idea what that means and your "hell of a night" makes more sense to me... although, the conversation takes place in the afternoon, if he had meant "night," he probably would have said "wasn't it" instead of "isn't it." Am I overthinking this? Well, I checked two sources and they both had "note," so we'd better go with it. Maybe he's referring to the wire he sent?

But other than that, perfect!

Thanks, Chris!

I've just listened to the file again, and ummm... I was saying "note".

Must be an accent thing. Seriously, you can't hear the Australian long 'o' of 'note'?

I can do it again if you wish, though I might have to remove the accent for that word.

Cheers,
Chris

rotflol! Ha! No, I didn’t recognize the ‘Stralian’ long ‘o’. Guess it’s clearly time for me to visit Australia and learn the dialect. You don’t need to change a thing. It’s time everyone learns this wonderful dialect. (Most will probably think you said “night,” though... ).

I'm going to open back up these roles. I've held them both for over a month; and both have not checked in for over a month nor done their one-minute test, so...
