Thank you, Devorah!mightyfelix wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2021, 3:57 pm Thank you, Jenn! You make quite a convincing sweet old lady! Now, which one are you again?
Act 1:
0:14 Two missing lines, p. 8: "You--you don't think..." and "may possibly be a little too..."
1:37 Two missing lines, p. 9: "Oh, Bennet!" and "You will remind Charles..."
2:35 Missing word (underlined). The sense is still the same, but it sounds just a bit "off" to me without that one word. P. 11: "Yes, she must be very clever to have obtained the position that she has."
6:22 This one I leave up to your discretion. The word "bath" here (p. 16) is used as a verb and should probably be pronounced "bathe." It makes more sense that way, anyway. I don't know why it's not written that way, though. Is this an older spelling? Or was it pronounced differently then? I really don't know. In any case, you read what is printed... It's just that what is printed doesn't make sense to me. So, again, I leave this to your discretion.
Act 2, 3 and 4 PL ok!
Apologies for the missing lines! Apparently my eyesight is starting to fail me in my old age
And I did have an internal argument with myself when I first recorded this about the word 'bath' which didn't sound right to my ears either. Since there are at least 2 of us that think it makes more sense to be pronounced 'bathe', I changed it!

I just called her "elder" in the filename for the role. Let me know if you want me to change that.

Hi there, amended acts 1, 3 & 4 for Vernon. Thanks for noticing the cut-off lines/laughs. I've given them more space and removed the noise gate from the laughs. If they're still too noticeable I can rerecord them! Andrewmightyfelix wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2021, 7:56 pm
Act 1:
2:19 Word change. Text reads (p. 21), "why we walked from the station, and slipped in by the side door." I hear, "why we walked through the station, and slipped through the side door." (The second change doesn't matter much, but the first one makes quite a difference, so you may just want to correct them both.)
3:40 Word change. Text reads (p. 23), "Bennet will send your maid to you." I hear, "Bennet will send the maid to you." (This one might be a bit nitpicky, I don't know. But since they do have several maids, it might be confusing to leave it as the maid.)
Act 2 PL ok!
Act 3:
0:10 Two takes of "Hello, got a cup of tea there?" Please cut one of these.
2:09 At the end of this "Forever and ever and ever," it sounds like it's abruptly cut off at the end, which is a little off-putting. It seems that you might be making your cuts very close to the sound, and sometimes too close. Or perhaps it's some kind of processing, a noise gate or something? I hear something similar a couple of times with some of your laughs, but those are a bit easier to clean up, I think.
3:17 Added word. Text reads(p. 57), "She bolted before we got back." I hear, "She bolted long before we got back." I'm not sure how crucial this is, but that extra word seems to change the timeline somehow.
Act 4:
2:07 Again a phrase sounds barely cut off at the end: "...to do me the honour to be my wife."

I really can't decide which of the Misses Wetherell is the more adorable of the two! You two will both be such a memorable part of this play, and I can already tell you will sound phenomenal together!mleigh wrote: ↑January 24th, 2021, 7:36 pm Here are the recordings for the Elder Miss Wetherell.
