Thank you, Jenn!
Now all I'm missing to complete the Play is Tim's line, but he hasn't been on for more than a month.
I think there's still time to wait, but if he doesn't show up, Todd, would it be OK to have another voice fill in that missing line?

Yes, we could have someone else do that line, or perhaps it works to just omit it perhaps?
Thanks, Todd

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. Checking the text again now, I would say that its absence wouldn't be noticed much if it was omitted
I would like to try and find someone to do the line, to stay true to the text, but if it doesn't work out, then omitting it it is...
Except if, in your experience, omitting it is better than having a different voice do it.

It is pretty hard to copy someone's voice well. However, here it might work well becuz he is under the settee just for that line and so a very muffled voice would be appropriate.

Unless I am reading the list incorrectly, I played the part of Tim Casey, NOT James Ryan as the list shows.wib66 wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 7:46 pm Here is the cast list for Spreading the News

Hi both I know it looks confusing but I have checked it and you are assigned to the correct character. It's just the way it sets it out when it gets copied. I have separated the list above so you can see how it should look. Hope that now makes sense. It shows the character first then your forum name and number.JoannaHoyt wrote: ↑July 10th, 2021, 2:48 amAnd as I recall I read Shaw Early, not Tim Casey.GregGiordano wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 10:51 pmUnless I am reading the list incorrectly, I played the part of Tim Casey, NOT James Ryan as the list shows.wib66 wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 7:46 pm Here is the cast list for Spreading the News

Greg.
David O had a suggestion in a play he is currently rescuing: Have the narrator read the missing line. As a "stage direction". narrator being me in both cases - yours and David's, I'll be glad to take that approach if you wish.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 12:18 pm Hmm, I hadn't thought of that.
